The tower is spectacular, but unfortunately you get inundated with gypsies trying to con you out of your euro with the found wedding ring con (too hard to explain here), it happens so often that it becomes a bit of a joke (albeit and annoying joke) and I wonder how they get any tourists to fall for it. Then there are the hawkers that hastle you to buy miniature Eiffel Towers.
We move on and follow the Seine walking past the Grand and Petit Palais' and on to the Place De La Concorde.
This is the view up the Champs Elysees from the Place De La Concorde, at the end you can see the Arc de Triomphe.
From the Place De La Concorde we walk through the Jardin des Tuileries to the Musee Du Louvre.
We're feeling pretty tired by now...but we keep going on the the Theatre Chatalet, this is where will come back to on Friday night to watch Les Miserable.
By now I'm through walking, so it's the Metro back to the apartment where Tab and I attempt to learn french by watching game shows.
